| When | Who | What |
|---|---|---|
| Aug 24 | Rev Bobbie Nelson | Rev. Nelson is a retired UU minister and is the sister of Don Martin of UUCE. |
| Aug 31 | Rev Sara Hayman | Sara is a hospice minister and a member of our congregation. |
| Sep 7 | Rev. Leela Sinha | Ingathering and Water Communion As we make our annual water communion, we renew our commitments to each other and to this community. What does the commitment mean? Why this place, why now? What do we have to offer each other? We will celebrate our many gifts on this ingathering Sunday. If you can, please bring a small amount of water (about a film canister worth) from someplace special to you. It might be from vacation away, from a river near your home, or from your kitchen tap. We will mingle the waters as part of our service. |
| Sep 14 | Rev. Leela Sinha | You want fries with that? Mother Ann of the Shakers said, "Hands to work, hearts to God." Clara Barton and Florence Nightingale nursed the sick; Abraham Lincoln led us through the Civil War; Harriet Tubman ran the underground railroad, but most of us have much more humble futures if we aim to serve. How can we honor that? |
| Sep 21 | Rev. Leela Sinha | Blanket of Stars At this time of equinox we pass once again toward the darkness. What richness do our nights hold? |
